</p><p>The operation was conducted under the directive of General Sar Thet, National Police Commissioner, and overseen by Lt. Gen. Bun Pa Marilux and Lt. Gen. Prum Santhor, with guidance from Lt. Gen. Kheung Sarath, Director of the Department of Anti-Drug Crimes.
</p><p>On May 25, 2024, at 6:30 AM, the specialized force of the Department of Anti-Drug Crimes (A9) in collaboration with Stung Treng Provincial Police, directed by Deputy Prosecutor Mr. Sin Soheng, conducted the operation in Veal Pring village, Ou Svay commune, Borey Ou Svay Sen Chey district, Stung Treng province.
</p><p>The operation led to the arrest of four individuals involved in the drug trafficking ring: Eap Sok Khim, 26, Cambodian; Cryp Prachaya Pharasak, 42, Thai; Se Changprawit, 35, Thai; and Vong Bun Chhay Leut Theara Chhay, 51, Thai.
</p><p>Authorities seized a substantial amount of illegal drugs, including 222,900 grams of methamphetamine and 31,808 grams of ketamine, totaling over 254 kilograms. Other confiscated items included four cars, twelve mobile phones, three radios, two grenades, and cash in baht and US dollars.
</p><p>The detainees and the confiscated items are currently under interrogation by the Anti-Drug Department. The case has been forwarded to the Stung Treng Provincial Court for further legal proceedings.
